This Could Be Your Last Breath
Loss is never easy to comprehend. Whether you've lost an important relationship with friends or parents, or you've had to put your childhood dog down, or worse, when the unexpected tradegy of death creeps up on someone you love. It's never, ever easy.
Sometimes you may find yourself preparing for it. When my grandma decided to for-go anymore chemo treatments for her cancer, my family and I buckled down and prepared for her passing. But the preparation didn't work. We were still devestated and there will forever be an empty hole in all of our hearts.
Other times, you don't get to try and prepare at all. Your loved ones vanish before your very eyes. No goodbyes get to be spoken. No last minute apologies or jokes. Nothing. You're left trying to think back to the time you last spoke and hope to God that it wasn't a bad conversation.
But that's just it:
You never know when it's going to be the last time.
Life is unpredictable and God has his own plan. So I'm here to remind you that death is inevitable. For you, for me, for everyone here on Earth. Our time will come and no one ever knows when that is. So live NOW. Forgive others NOW. Be the light that someone needs because you may on your last breath and not even realize it.
Encompass all that love is for yourself and for others. When you fully start to understand the fragility and the special-ness of life, I promise, loving yourself and others gets a whole lot easier and makes loss just a little easier to comprehend.
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
