Living so far from your family and friends can be lonely. I don't doubt my choice to move to Colorado. It's great here. I am slowly and surely living out the life I have wanted for so long. But I want to be real with you: I still have my bad days. Everyone does.
Due to a puppy who has a rough time becoming potty trained along with separation anxiety it's hard to go out and explore like I imagined. Although Guinness has come a long way, he's still just a puppy. He can hardly walk two-miles and the fact that he will literally pee wherever he is standing without any type of warning sign cuts down on what type of adventures we can go on. We're learning and traveling together pretty much everywhere. Which leaves me cooped up at home when I'm used to moving around 25/8.
However, I already feel that God has a plan in this season of waiting. He's waiting for me to become ready for what he's about to throw my way. I'm working on a few different ideas that I am INCREDIBLY excited about, and if you haven't already, I suggest you sign up for my emails! *Hint, hint, wink, wink!*
With new projects underway, a puppy who is actually learning pretty quickly (just not as fast as I would like), and a wonderful fiance who supports everything I do-Life is still good. A little lonely, but good.
For whoever needs the reminder: You are EXACTLY where you're supposed to be. No matter what decisions you have made in the past or the decisions you will make in the future, the Universe works with you not against you. There is no set plan that you are destined to follow-so follow your gut and live out your dreams.
And if you're already doing that-GREAT!!! There may (will) be times you doubt yourself, your decisions, your goals but keep going. You've got this.
"Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
