Review: Sleek MakeUP

Awhile back, I was blessed once again from Influenster to receive two items of make-up from a brand I had honestly never heard of before. (But then again, I also don't do a lot of "big" make-up brands since my budget usually only ever allows for my tried and true drugstore favorites so I rarely go out of what I already know.)

Sleek MakeUP prides themselves on their "High-Pigment Colour", along with their highlighter and contouring palattes. However, they also sell just about anything else your face would need to look it's best. From eyeshadows, to foundation, to blush, to primers, they sell it all and from the reivews all over the internet (not just from the people who received the free sets) their products hold up to their fancy cases and high-end look.

I do want to mention that, yes, you can check out all of their items on their website BUT you cannot buy anything directly from them. Instead they put all of their products in stores such as Ulta or Target. It is an odd little trick, but that doesn't make their products bad, it actually just makes them easier on your wallet. Get out those coupons and Cartwheel offers!

The two products I received are:

Sleek MakeUP Eyeshadow Palette in Vintage Romance

Sleek MakeUP Highlighting Palette in Cleopatra's Kiss

*They are both currently in stock at Target if you'd like to try them out for yourself!*

Now like I said, I'm NOT a huge make-up buff. The only make-up tutorials I watch are the ones where the dad's make fun of their daughters, and it's taken me a long time to figure out how to even apply a LITTLE bit of eyeshadow.

These palettes are not something I would have picked out at the store. Their cases are GORGEOUS, but the colors inside them aren't what I'm normally drawn to. However, I have loved getting to try new looks. The eyeshadow palatte is all sparkles (something I was scared to try) and the highlighter set actually works with my skin tone beautifully. The products seem to be a higher quality then the price would let on. The shadows aren't super powdery and the contour stays on my face all day long. This actually surprised me.

I personally think the two products I received aren't anything spectaular but they work well with my skin tone and give me some options to play with. (Seriously loving the sparkles though.) For the price at Target and Ulta, I will DEFINITELY be buying some more Sleek MakeUP in the future because my sensitive skin isn't fazed by any of their makeup materials. (Very surpried by this too!)

All in all I'd give Sleek MakeUP a 7 out of 10. I think it's a little strange you can't buy from their website, but their products are great for the low price in retail stores.

Have you tried Sleek MakeUP before? What'd you think? I'd also love to hear any other makeup recommendations for sensitive skin. Let me know in the comments below!

*Please note: I do not make any money based on sales. I thought these products were great to review and all of the opinions are my own. I received the products for "free" for testing through Influenster but no other products unless I am picked in a raffle drawing.*
