How to Rock Your Own Killer Confidence

Let's face it, life can be draining. Right now, I've been having a hard time finding a job in the Loveland area. Finding that perfect career fit can be hard and constantly hearing "no" when you desperately want to hear even a faint "okay"can be mentally draining.

God has His plan and it can be hard to trust it all the time when the path seems so unclear. To get yourself through the rough waters, give yourself killer confidence. You don't need other people's validation. You can get the love for yourself FROM yourself and once you tap into this potential, I promise you that you will be unstoppable no matter what life throws at you.

Get Up & Get Dressed

Sometimes the hardest part of any day is just rolling out of bed. But get up, do a morning skin routine and drink a cup of water before you touch your favorite coffee drink. I also prefer to make my bed, completing one task early-on will help with the rest I have planned during the day. Plus, your bedroom is your comfy place, why not love it to its full extent?

Put On Your Favorite Outfit and OWN IT

Unless you have decided to wear lingerie to a business meeting, where what you feel confident in and own it. Running errands, classes, or even work days are opportunities to express yourself and to find how you feel the most comfortable in your skin. Stop worrying so much about what others think (they really don't care that much anyway) and focus on YOU.

Do Something You Absolutely Love

Often times we get caught up in the day to day activities that we forget to do the things that we love! Life is short so why NOT spend it doing things that make us happy? When you're in your zone doing what you're passionate about, your confidence grows. You're comfortable, yet open to possibilties because you KNOW you can conquer them. So go for that run or paint your masterpiece it's worth your time.

Do Something You've Never Done Before

When you get out of your comfort zone, your confidence can drop. This is normal, but once you overcome that uncertainty you actually become MORE confident in yourself and in your abilities. So go out there and triumph over everything you put your mind to. I know you can do it, now believe in yourself.

Keep Anxieties, Horrible Thoughts, and Fears Under Control

It can be easy to play the "what-if" game in your head. It can be easy to let past mistakes work their way up to your present, but this is where you really need to dig in to find that confidence that the world knows you have. Thinking about the past, won't change the future. Creating something to fear just because you don't know what the outcome is *yet* can hinder your ability to perform your best. Learn to be here in the moment and take everything for what it's worth. Not everything requires deep thinking or multiple ways to solve an issue. Trust your instincts, breathe when you need to, and know that you're not alone in this world.
